Ingredients

  • 320 grams (11.30 ounces) dried noodles such as fettuccine, spaghetti, or ramen

For The Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons (30 grams, 1.06 ounces) butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons (2-3 cloves) minced garlic
  • 200 grams (7.01 ounces) raw shrimp (prawns) peeled and deveined
  • 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup (20 grams, 0.71 ounces) green onions finely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Lightly toasted sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare your noodles according to the instructions on the packet. Once cooked, drain the noodles and set aside.
  • If using large shrimp, cut into smaller pieces. Lightly salt your shrimp. Set aside.
  • Heat butter in a medium sized saucepan and add the minced garlic and shrimp once hot. Cook until the shrimp has turned pink in color and is cooked.
  • Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, water, green onions, and salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasonings as desired.
  • Mix through the cooked and drained noodles. Coat evenly in the sauce. See note 1.

Notes

If you find your sauce is a bit thick, you can add a bit of water and mix it through to thin out the sauce.
