Cook your noodles according to the instructions on your packet. When the noodles are cooked, strain them and set aside.
While the noodles are cooking, heat butter in a medium saucepan. Once hot, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Mix through the stock (or water), and salt and pepper. Taste the sauce for seasoning, and adjust as desired. You want to slightly over season with salt.
Mix through the cooked and strained noodles to the saucepan. Coat the noodles evenly in the sauce. If you find your sauce is too thick, add a bit of water and adjust seasons as required.
Turn off heat and mix through the parmesan cheese. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and some freshly squeezed lemon juice if desired.
