Ingredients
  

  • 320 grams (11.30 ounces) dried noodles such as dried wheat noodles, ramen noodles, rice noodles, or udon
  • 4 tablespoons chili oil store-bought or homemade
  • 1 ½ teaspoons (2-3 cloves) minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 40 grams (1.40 ounces) Green onions (spring onions), finely chopped
  • 1 - 2 fresh chilis desseded and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lightly toasted sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the chili oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the saucepan along with the soy sauce. Toss well to coat the noodles evenly with the chili garlic oil mixture. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through. Season with salt.
  • Turn off heat and mix through finely chopped green onions and chopped chili.
  • Serve and garnish with lightly toasted sesame seeds.
